Brenda HannahCUBITT (NEE BUTTON)It is with deep sadness that her family announce that Brenda has passed away, suddenly but very peacefully, aged 88 yrs old, on Friday 3rd May 2024, following a short illness, in the care of Greenacres Residential Care home in Heckington.
Brenda is now reunited with her beloved and much missed Husband, Alvin (of 64 years). Loved and treasured Mum to Helen and Diane. Loved and treasured Mum-in-Law to Steve. Loving and loved Sister to the late John and Sister-in-Law to the late Edna. Loved and treasured Auntie to Paula and the late Julie. Precious and loved Grandma to Emily, Keefe, Matthew and Emma. Also precious and loved Great Grandma to Hope, Matilda and Dylan.
Brenda will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched in so many ways.
The family would also like to thank ALL the staff, carers and support staff at Greenacres Care Home, who looked after Brenda so well and so lovingly whilst she was with them. We are so grateful to them and appreciate them more than words can say. Brenda worked there as a cook many years ago and it was one of her 'Happy Places', where she was content to spend her last days.

I first meet you as a young 16yr old on YTS training at greenacers care home. I will hold all these memories for ever. I also had the pleasure of caring for you in your own home some 30yrs later. A wonderful, loving, kind and caring lady. Your are now reunited with your much beloved husband Alvin.
Thinking of Helen, Diane, Steve and you grandchild and great grandchildren at this very sad time.
